The Senior Trust Administrator will be responsible for providing administration of complex trust and investment management account relationships. Serves as trust officer assigned to clients that effectively interacts with all members of the Client Service Team, including the lead relationship manager, portfolio manager, financial planner and private banker as well as other central services groups as appropriate. The relationship size typically is in the range of $1 million to $25 million, will be assigned a subset of existing clients, with the expectation of growing a book of clients in addition.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Responsible for the administration of customer trust accounts and providing superior service by exceeding client’s expectations while understanding and complying policies, procedures, governmental regulations and individual trust agreements.
· Collaborate with Trust Counsel, Trust Tax and various lines of business committees (Trust New Business, Discretionary Oversight) and other internal departments in order to ensure proper documentation and administration decisions.
· Work with outside attorneys, co-trustees, accountants and other professionals to effectively administer trust accounts in accordance with the terms of each account’s governing document.
· Maintain appropriate contact with customers through mailings, telephone calls, correspondence, and client meetings.
· Develop and maintain an expertise in a specific area of personal Trust sufficient to be a resource for colleagues in Personal Trust as well as other lines of business in the integrated suite of services.
· Monitor client base for opportunities to leverage existing relationships.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree required
· Extensive knowledge of financial services industry, wealth management products, and team selling
· Professional Certifications and/or Advanced Degrees preferred: JD, CPA, CFA, CTFA
· 8+ years job related experience
· Extensive network of local centers of influence
· Excellent written/oral/presentation skills
· Excellent client advisory skills
