🛡️ Network & Security Engineer | Malta | Up to €50k

I’m looking for a seriously hands-on Network & Security Engineer to join a growing technical team in Malta.

This one is for someone who has actually configured Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls in live production environments - not just supported them from the sidelines.

You’ll be working across varied enterprise customer environments, owning network and security issues from troubleshooting through to deployment and handover.

What you’ll be doing:

🔥 Configuring and troubleshooting Palo Alto & Fortinet FortiGate firewalls

🌐 Working across firewall policies, NAT, VPNs, routing and security profiles

🔧 Troubleshooting complex LAN, WAN and connectivity issues

📡 Configuring switches, routers, VLANs and wireless infrastructure

⚙️ Working with TCP/IP, STP, OSPF/BGP, DHCP and DNS

🚀 Delivering firewall/network migrations, upgrades and new deployments

🧠 Acting as a senior escalation point for more complex technical issues

🏢 Attending customer sites across Malta for project and troubleshooting work

What I’m looking for:

✅ Strong real-world Palo Alto + Fortinet experience

✅ Solid routing & switching knowledge

✅ Comfortable independently owning complex network/security problems

✅ CCNP / PCNSE / advanced Fortinet certifications highly desirable

⭐ CCIE would be a big plus

✅ Fluent Maltese & English

✅ Valid Maltese driving licence

You’ll get exposure to multiple enterprise environments, cybersecurity projects and infrastructure challenges rather than maintaining the same network every day.
