We’re partnering with a global fintech platform that processes huge volumes of trading activity across multiple regions and hundreds of thousands of users.

Their data platform sits right at the centre of that ecosystem — powering analytics, operational decision making, product insights and trading intelligence across the business.

They’re now scaling their Data Engineering capability in Singapore and looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help evolve a modern, cloud-native data platform handling serious scale.

This is the kind of environment where data pipelines aren’t reporting tools — they’re mission-critical infrastructure.

The Opportunity

You’ll play a key role in building and scaling the next generation of the company’s data platform, designing systems that ingest, transform and deliver massive volumes of data across the organisation.

Expect to work on:

• High-volume ingestion pipelines

• Distributed data processing frameworks

• Modern cloud-native infrastructure

• Real-time and batch data workloads

• Platform tooling used across engineering and analytics teams

You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, analysts and product teams across multiple regions — helping turn complex data into meaningful insights that drive business decisions.

The Tech Environment:

Modern engineering culture with a strong focus on scalable systems.

Core stack includes:

• Python
• SQL
• Spark
• DBT
• Kafka
• GCP (preferred cloud)
• Parquet / Avro data formats
• Containerised services (Kubernetes / Nomad)

You don’t need to tick every box — but strong experience building data pipelines and distributed data systems is key.

• Strong experience in data engineering and pipeline development

• Experience working with Spark or distributed processing frameworks

• Comfortable operating in Agile engineering environments
