THE ROLE
The company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead all financial strategy, operational execution, and integration activities during a period of rapid expansion and organizational transformation.
This executive will build a cohesive financial organization, lead disciplined investment and planning, integrate multiple acquired entities, and establish scalable processes that support continued growth. The ideal CFO has successfully led a company through a major growth inflection point — significant expansion in revenue, headcount, systems, and complexity — while thriving in a founder-led, high-velocity environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead financial strategy, planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Oversee accounting, treasury, tax, audits, and financial controls
• Guide investment decisions, capital planning, and long-range financial strategy
• Lead FP&A and drive forward-looking, data-driven forecasting models
• Oversee contracts, pricing, estimating, and procurement operations
• Integrate acquired businesses and standardize financial systems and processes
• Develop scalable financial infrastructure that supports rapid growth and complexity
• Deliver financial insights, reporting, and recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
• Recruit, mentor, and scale a high-performing multi-disciplinary finance team
BACKGROUND PROFILE
• Senior finance leadership experience (CFO, VP Finance, SVP Finance) in aerospace, defense, industrial technology, or advanced manufacturing
• Proven ability to scale a company through a major growth phase, including post-acquisition integration
• Strong M&A background across diligence, financial modeling, deal structuring, and integration
• Experience in a founder-led, private-equity-backed, or high-urgency environment
• Leadership experience across FP&A, accounting, contracts, pricing, and procurement
• Exceptional communication, executive presence, and ability to operate in high-expectation cultures
• U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain a security clearance preferred
