Benefits: PTO and Holiday Calendar

Company: Elevate

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Elevate is an award-winning global sports and entertainment agency founded in 2018, serving more than 1,000 brands, properties and experience-driven businesses through one integrated model: strategy and insights, creative, partnership and ticketing sales, executive search, culinary and paid media. Its paid media practice, Media by Elevate, applies a "CAC to Community" approach built inside some of the most demanding fan communities in the world, pairing tactical media plans that hit immediate goals with audience and community insight that drives long-term growth and customer lifetime value. The practice is scaling its brand-side business, and analytics sits at the center of that growth.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

This is a senior opportunity for an experienced analytics professional who is ready to own both the day-to-day delivery and the strategic direction of a media analytics function. You will start as a team of one inside a remote-first media team of about 12, growing toward 15 by year end, with a supporting analyst planned early next year. Your first priority is the reporting engine: working dashboards, clean taxonomy, reliable tracking and data the media team can act on every day. Over time you will set the analytics roadmap, bring advanced measurement into client conversations, and help build the team.

Above all, this is a role for an entrepreneur at heart. We are not looking for someone who waits to be told where the priorities are. We are looking for someone who sees what needs to be built, works out how to build it and gets on with it: a solution-seeker who identifies the gap before anyone raises it and arrives with the answer already attached to the problem.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

Dashboards, reporting and client data leadership

  • Own the build, management and ongoing development of reporting dashboards across digital media platforms, from data source connection and taxonomy through to visualization, automation and quality assurance, with Looker as the primary dashboard platform today.
  • Take a data brief from the media team ("we need this data, this data and this data") and turn it into a working dashboard without hand-holding.
  • Lead client discussions around dashboards and data management: walk senior stakeholders through what the reporting shows, how it was built, what it can and cannot tell them, and what it should be used to decide.
  • Set the standard for how media performance is presented across the client portfolio, so dashboards answer commercial questions rather than simply displaying platform metrics.
  • Interrogate dashboard performance and translate it into clear, specific optimization recommendations for the media teams, closing the loop between reporting and in-platform action.
  • Protect data integrity across the reporting stack: consistent naming conventions, correctly implemented taxonomy, reliable tagging and pixel tracking, and a single version of the truth across channels.

Solutions development and client delivery

  • Design and launch new, scalable analytics service offerings, including go-to-market plans, templates and training materials.
  • Lead the scoping and delivery of complex analytical projects, and contribute to proposals, commercial discussions and pitches at senior levels.
  • Oversee the rollout of analytics frameworks and solutions across the client portfolio, maintaining quality and impact throughout delivery.
  • As client wins grow, act as a trusted senior adviser within client engagements, consulting on measurement strategy, audience analytics and data-driven decision-making.
  • Distill complex analytical outputs into clear, compelling narratives with actionable conclusions for senior stakeholders and C-level audiences.
  • Identify growth opportunities at the client and portfolio level and help convert them.

Partnerships and ecosystem

  • Build and manage relationships with technology providers, data platform vendors and measurement specialists that extend Elevate's analytical capability.
  • Assess the ad tech and advanced analytics vendor landscape on an ongoing basis and make clear, well-reasoned recommendations on the partners and platforms Elevate and its clients should use.
  • Represent Elevate externally through published points of view, case studies and thought leadership in the analytics space.

Analytics strategy and framework

  • Define and own Elevate's multi-year analytics roadmap, keeping the approach rigorous, scalable and aligned to commercial outcomes and client needs.
  • Develop cross-channel measurement frameworks and attribution approaches that connect analytical activity to business and ROI outcomes.
  • Act as the strategic owner of advanced analytical programs, including marketing mix modeling, attribution and incrementality testing, as client spend grows into them.
  • Establish standards, best practices and quality controls across the analytics function, including dashboard design, data governance and methodology.
  • Stay current on the analytics, measurement and AI/ML landscape and share well-informed points of view on the changes that matter to clients.

YOU'LL SUCCEED IF YOU HAVE

Minimum five years of experience in analytics, data strategy, management consulting or an analytics leadership role, and a clear appetite to step into, or further develop, a senior leadership position. The strongest candidates have built something themselves: a function, a reporting infrastructure, a service offering or a set of senior client relationships.

How applications are assessed: you must meet all four essential prerequisites, and demonstrate at least two of the four supporting capabilities.

Essential prerequisites (all four required)

  • Entrepreneurial by instinct. A self-directed solution-seeker who does not wait to be told what to do. You identify what needs to be built or fixed from what you see in front of you, and you take it forward without needing to be instructed or guided through it.
  • A paid media or advertising background, client-side or agency-side. Your analytics expertise was built inside the media discipline, and you understand how media is planned, bought, optimized and reported.
  • Hands-on dashboard ownership. You have personally built and managed reporting dashboards in digital platforms: not commissioned them, not specified them for someone else to build, but owned the build and the ongoing management yourself.
  • Client-facing data leadership. You can lead client discussions around dashboards and the data inside them, with the communication skills and credibility to take senior, non-technical stakeholders through the reporting and the decisions it supports, in fluent English.

Supporting capabilities (at least two required)

  • Ad operations ownership. You have owned and managed ad ops, including taxonomy process and taxonomy implementation.
  • Advanced analytics delivery. You have developed and delivered advanced analytical solutions: media mix modeling, multi-touch attribution and incrementality testing, typically in a SQL environment.
  • Performance interpretation and optimization. You can read performance within the dashboard and translate it into specific optimization recommendations for the media teams.
  • Ad tech landscape fluency. You understand the ad tech landscape and can make credible recommendations on ad tech vendors and partners in the advanced analytics space.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience in a professional services, consultancy or agency environment with exposure to client portfolio management.
  • Hands-on familiarity with tools and platforms across reporting, visualization, MarTech and marketing data infrastructure, especially Looker.
  • Experience with data clean room environments and first- and third-party data solutions.
  • A track record of developing new service offerings or practice areas, including go-to-market planning and internal capability-building.

WHY JOIN THIS TEAM

This role offers genuine scope to build and lead. You will have the mandate to shape Elevate's media analytics function, from the strategic framework, reporting infrastructure and service offering through to the partnerships, team and client relationships that bring it to life. You will work on meaningful, complex challenges, be supported by senior leadership, and play a central role in one of the agency's fastest-growing practice areas. If you would rather build the thing than wait for the brief, this is the right environment for you. This is a long-term, integrated seat on the team, not project work.
