Role: Social Intelligence / Cultural Insights Analyst

Location: Remote (LATAM)

Rate: $3,000–$3,500 USD/month

Benefits: PTO and Holiday Calendar

Company: Mojo Supermarket

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Mojo Supermarket is a fully integrated agency built on the creative philosophy “Break your brain good.” In an age of disposable content, they focus on making work that is both meaningful and lasting—ideas that rewire the way the world thinks. They partner with brands like Adidas, Eventbrite, Girls Who Code, Match, Meta, Peloton, Savage x Fenty, and Truth to solve high-stakes business challenges through creativity that drives real impact.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for someone deeply fluent in internet culture—someone who doesn’t just spot trends, but understands where they come from, why they matter, and what brands should do about them. This is not a pure reporting or dashboarding role. You’ll act as a cultural interpreter, turning signals from the internet into sharp, actionable insights that shape creative work.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

  • Monitor social platforms, niche communities, and digital spaces to identify emerging cultural signals and shifts
  • Translate online behavior, conversations, and trends into clear insights that inform creative briefs and campaign direction
  • Partner closely with Strategy and Creative teams to shape ideas that are culturally relevant and timely
  • Identify patterns across platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Reddit, X, YouTube, etc.) and connect them to broader cultural movements
  • Turn messy, fast-moving information into structured narratives that teams can act on
  • Contribute to insight decks, trend reports, and cultural briefings used internally and with clients
  • Bring a strong point of view on what’s happening in culture—and defend it with clarity and logic
  • Help teams understand not just what is happening, but why it matters and what to do next

YOU’LL SUCCEED IF YOU HAVE

  • 3–6+ years in cultural insights, social strategy, trend forecasting, or adjacent roles within agencies or brand teams
  • A deep, intuitive understanding of internet culture, subcultures, and how trends evolve across platforms
  • Experience using social listening or analytics tools (e.g., Brandwatch, Sprout, Talkwalker, or similar) as inputs—not outputs
  • The ability to connect data points to human behavior and cultural context
  • Strong storytelling skills—you can turn complexity into clear, compelling narratives
  • A point of view—you don’t just report what’s happening, you interpret it
  • A track record of influencing creative or strategic decisions with your insights
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where culture moves quickly

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience in a creative or advertising agency environment
  • Background in sociology, anthropology, media studies, or similar fields
  • Experience creating trend reports, cultural briefings, or insight decks for clients
  • Familiarity with U.S. audiences and global cultural dynamics

WHY JOIN THIS TEAM

At Mojo Supermarket, cultural insight isn’t a support function—it’s a creative advantage. Your work will directly shape ideas that go out into the world, influencing how major brands show up in culture. You’ll be part of a team that values sharp thinking, strong points of view, and work that actually resonates.
