About the Role
We’re looking for a Copywriter who knows how to shape voice, spark emotion, and move people to act. You’ll write across channels — from packaging and product launches to campaigns, social, and editorial — helping define how our brands show up in the world.
This is a role for a storyteller who thinks like a strategist — someone who can flex between playful and polished, and who sees words as a design element just as much as a message.
What You’ll Own

Concept & Campaign Writing – Develop compelling campaign messaging and clear, conversion-minded copy across print, digital, and in-store environments.

Brand Voice Development – Write and refine brand narratives for Cloud Cover, Galactic, Habitat, and High Profile; ensure tone consistency across every channel.

Content Creation – Craft copy for websites, social posts, newsletters, product descriptions, editorial pieces, and more.

Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with marketing, product, retail, and design teams to align creative work with business goals and KPIs.

Editorial Leadership – Maintain and evolve copy style guides, and train internal/external partners on voice, tone, and content standards.

Project Management – Track deliverables and manage priorities within our project management system to keep work flowing smoothly.

Creative Insight – Stay sharp on language and cultural trends to keep our content relevant, engaging, and ahead of the curve.
What You Bring
- 4+ years of experience writing for brands, agencies, or in-house creative teams.
- Proven ability to attract, engage, and grow audiences through standout copy across digital and physical touchpoints.
- A deep understanding of writing for both B2B and B2C audiences, adjusting tone and structure accordingly.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills — you can explain your choices, take feedback, and elevate a creative idea.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities at once.
- A strong creative point of view, balanced by a respect for strategy and business outcomes.
- Cannabis industry experience is a plus, but not required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field — or equivalent professional experience backed by a strong writing portfolio.
