Role: Paid Search Marketer

Location: Remote (LATAM)

Rate: $2,750–$3,250 USD/month

Benefits: PTO and Holiday Calendar

Company: Openly Roofing

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Openly Roofing is an early-stage home services company reimagining how homeowners purchase roofing services through a modern, digital-first experience. The team is building a buying journey designed to feel more like configuring and purchasing a Tesla than navigating a traditional contractor process. Founded by experienced Silicon Valley entrepreneurs with multiple successful exits, the company is launching in the Bay Area with plans to expand nationally as acquisition performance proves successful.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a builder—someone who enjoys creating acquisition systems from the ground up and thrives in early-stage environments. You’ll be the founding paid acquisition marketer, working directly with the co-founders to launch, optimize, and scale Google Ads while helping shape the overall customer acquisition strategy. If you’re energized by ownership, experimentation, and making a measurable business impact, you’ll thrive in this role.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

  • Build, launch, and own Google’s paid search program from the ground up.
  • Develop campaign structure, keyword strategy, bidding, testing, and optimization initiatives.
  • Manage approximately $15K–20K/month in initial Google Ads spend while improving efficiency over time.
  • Partner directly with the founders to shape acquisition strategy and growth priorities.
  • Analyze campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and customer acquisition costs.
  • Recommend and help drive improvements to landing pages, lead flow, and the homeowner buying experience—not just paid campaigns.
  • Design and execute ongoing A/B tests across campaigns and conversion funnels.
  • Establish scalable reporting and performance measurement processes.
  • Help prepare the business for future expansion into additional channels, including Meta.
  • Build a repeatable acquisition engine capable of supporting expansion beyond the Bay Area into new markets.

YOU’LL SUCCEED IF YOU HAVE

  • Deep, hands-on Google Ads (AdWords) experience.
  • Proven experience building paid acquisition programs from zero to one.
  • Background in home services, local services, or lead-generation businesses.
  • Strong B2C performance marketing background.
  • Experience owning acquisition KPIs and optimizing toward CPA or lead-generation goals.
  • A track record of improving conversion funnels alongside paid media campaigns.
  • Comfort working autonomously in fast-moving startup environments.
  • Confidence collaborating directly with founders and influencing growth decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to experimentation.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with Meta Ads.
  • Experience scaling acquisition across multiple geographic markets.
  • Familiarity with startup growth playbooks and rapid experimentation.
  • Experience working without large internal marketing teams or agency support.

WHY JOIN THIS TEAM

This is an opportunity to become the founding paid acquisition marketer at a company building a modern, technology-driven approach to home services. You’ll work directly with experienced founders, have meaningful influence over both marketing strategy and the customer experience, and help build the growth engine that supports national expansion. Success in this role is measured by creating a scalable acquisition program while achieving a cost per conversion of $500 or less—and as performance grows, so will the opportunity, budget, and impact.
