WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a senior performance marketer who’s wired for high stakes, fast feedback loops, and real accountability. Someone who gets energized — not overwhelmed — when the numbers spike, the window narrows, and the decisions matter. If you cut your teeth on Black-Friday-level moments and love being hands-on in the data, you’ll feel right at home.



IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

  • Own and optimize paid media campaigns across Google, Bing, and other performance channels during peak tax season.
  • Manage budgets that scale aggressively when CPA targets are hit.
  • Run disciplined A/B and multivariate tests across ads, landing pages, and funnels.
  • Use seasonality and short-run behavioral shifts to influence bidding, pacing, and creative.
  • Build and maintain tracking, tagging, and attribution across the full marketing stack.
  • Partner closely with the Growth Marketer on strategy, experimentation, and decision-making.
  • Monitor live performance during high-traffic windows and adjust in real time.
  • Translate insights into clear recommendations for both the marketing and product teams.
  • Support year-round marketing initiatives across retention, lifecycle, SEO, and content.
  • Contribute to a culture that values learning, experimentation, and continuous improvement.



YOU’LL SUCCEED IF YOU HAVE

  • Deep experience managing and optimizing high-spend PPC campaigns (Google/Bing a must).
  • Strong analytical instincts and comfort making decisions with imperfect data.
  • A mindset built for high-intensity acquisition windows — you stay calm when the spend climbs.
  • Familiarity with conversion tracking, attribution, and platform-level optimization tools.
  • A habit of building systems: automations, dashboards, workflows, and clean data setups.
  • Curiosity and openness to learning across channels (email, SEO, experimentation).
  • Excellent communication and the ability to work cross-functionally with speed and clarity.



NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience running six-figure-per-day or event-driven acquisition campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience with GA4, GTM, PostHog, Mautic, Looker Studio, or SQL.
  • Background working in consumer software, fintech, or tax/financial services.
  • Experience building or optimizing AI-powered marketing workflows.
  • Comfort collaborating across distributed teams and time zones.
