ABOUT THE COMPANY

This role is with One of Our Amazing Partners, a fast-moving team building meaningful work with global impact. They are a North American custom web development agency that powers digital projects for marketing agencies and enterprise brands across consumer-facing industries. Their work mixes custom application development, headless CMS implementations, and ongoing maintenance for long-running client relationships, with a strong bias toward fast turnaround, button-down quality, and making complex coding work look easy.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for a Senior Web Development Project Manager who can run point on a small portfolio of large enterprise accounts and translate cleanly between sophisticated clients and a senior development team. You scope work, write requirements developers can actually execute against, and stay calm and organized when projects get complicated. You bring strong opinions, but you earn the right to use them.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

• Own day-to-day relationships across a small portfolio of large enterprise accounts, including weekly check-ins, scope conversations, and roadmap planning.
• Scope inbound client requests, write detailed requirements documents, and produce estimates the development team can execute against.
• Translate between client business needs and developer execution, keeping both sides moving without bottlenecks.
• Manage projects in Teamwork (with occasional Jira), running Kanban for ongoing maintenance and waterfall for shorter scoped builds.
• Anticipate interdependencies in custom applications and surface risks where one change could break something else.
• Pull developers into client conversations when technical depth is needed, then synthesize the discussion into clear next steps.
• Monitor timelines, scope creep, and dependency risk; flag issues to the client and internal team before they compound.
• Maintain clean, button-down project hygiene that the development team can rely on across multiple parallel engagements.

YOU'LL SUCCEED IF YOU HAVE

• 5 to 7+ years of project management experience inside a web development agency or a comparable multi-project environment.
• Hands-on experience managing custom web or application development projects (required - candidates without this background will not be considered). 
• Strong client management with the polish to project competence in front of senior client teams at large enterprise organizations.
• Excellent written and spoken English; comfortable handling client-facing communication for high-profile brands.
• Working familiarity with Kanban and waterfall methodologies, plus the ability to flex between them depending on engagement type.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and known by your developer counterparts for clear requirements, accurate estimates, and tight coordination.
• A proactive mindset; you ask questions and synthesize answers rather than handing requests over the fence.

NICE TO HAVE

• Headless CMS implementation experience.
• Direct experience using Teamwork software.
• Background working across multiple lines of business inside a large enterprise organization.
• Exposure to Craft CMS or other modern CMS ecosystems.
