WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR


Search is evolving fast. SEO is no longer measured by rankings alone — it’s measured by how organic visibility contributes to leads, pipeline, and revenue.


As AI reshapes how people discover, evaluate, and choose brands, organic search influences buying decisions earlier and more often. We’re looking for a senior practitioner who understands SEO as a revenue system — where technical infrastructure, content authority, AI-driven discovery, and on-site conversion work together to produce measurable outcomes.


You are not here to chase algorithms or produce audits for activity’s sake. You are here to establish priorities, influence strategy, and ensure organic search earns its place as a revenue driver inside an integrated performance ecosystem.


This is not traffic management. This is ownership of organic revenue performance.



IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL


  • Own organic search strategy and performance across a portfolio of mid-market and enterprise clients (lead generation and ecommerce)
  • Drive measurable contribution from SEO to qualified leads, conversions, pipeline, and revenue
  • Align SEO strategy with revenue goals, buyer behavior, and evolving AI-driven search dynamics
  • Lead technical SEO direction including architecture, crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, and structured data
  • Build content and authority strategies grounded in E-E-A-T, search intent, and real decision-making behavior
  • Optimize visibility across traditional SERPs, AI-generated summaries, answer engines, and local discovery surfaces
  • Integrate SEO with Paid Search, CRO, Web, and Analytics to ensure organic traffic converts
  • Establish prioritization frameworks based on business outcomes, not task volume
  • Translate performance into executive-facing narratives that inform strategic decisions
  • Proactively identify risk, opportunity, and performance inflection points
  • Mentor SEO specialists and contractors
  • Contribute to client retention and expansion through organic performance leadership



YOU’LL SUCCEED IF YOU HAVE


  • 6–9 years of hands-on SEO experience with increasing ownership and scope
  • Deep expertise in technical SEO, on-page optimization, content strategy, and internal linking systems
  • Strong understanding of AI-driven search behavior, answer engines, zero-click results, and evolving SERP dynamics
  • Proven experience driving organic performance tied directly to leads, conversions, and revenue
  • High proficiency with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Semrush, Ahrefs, and related platforms
  • Experience partnering with developers to prioritize and implement technical changes
  • Ability to translate complex SEO concepts into clear, executive-ready recommendations
  • Experience in an agency or multi-client environment (strongly preferred)
  • A high bar for clarity, accountability, and ownership



NICE TO HAVE


  • Experience working with revenue attribution or advanced analytics models
  • Exposure to CRO testing frameworks
  • Experience supporting enterprise site migrations or replatforming
  • Familiarity with integrated paid + organic strategy
