THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Social Content Designer to join our Paid Media team and create high-performing creative for paid advertising campaigns across a variety of industries.


In this role, you’ll work closely with our Paid Media Strategists to produce both static and video advertisements for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other digital channels. Rather than focusing on traditional branding or print design, you’ll create performance-driven creative that helps our clients generate clicks, conversions, and measurable business results.


Many of our clients don’t have extensive creative libraries, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys building compelling assets from scratch using stock photography, AI-assisted tools, client resources, and their own creative problem-solving skills. DAY-TO-DAY & GROWTH AT OPTIDGE


Year One

You’ll spend your time:

  • Creating original static and video advertisements for Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns.
  • Producing creative assets using stock photography, stock video, AI-generated imagery, and client-provided materials.
  • Researching competitors and industry trends to develop fresh creative concepts.
  • Collaborating with Paid Media Strategists to review campaign performance and identify opportunities for new creative.
  • Translating marketing strategy into engaging visual content that aligns with each client’s brand guidelines.
  • Managing the production, organization, and uploading of creative assets in multiple file formats, including JPG, PNG, PDF, MP4, and MOV.
  • Delivering polished work with exceptional attention to detail and minimal revisions.


Within One Month

You’ll:

  • Complete onboarding and become familiar with our client operations.
  • Successfully deliver your first client projects.
  • Become comfortable working alongside our Paid Media team and creative workflows.


By Three Months

You’ll:

  • Increase the volume of creative projects you complete.
  • Partner closely with Paid Media Strategists to identify winning creative patterns based on campaign performance.
  • Create new ads informed by client trends, conversion data, and performance insights.


By Six Months

You’ll:

  • Become a dependable creative partner, consistently producing engaging ad creative with minimal revisions.
  • Confidently manage a steady pipeline of creative work across multiple client accounts.
  • Continuously contribute fresh ideas that improve campaign performance while maintaining efficient production.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this role, you should have accomplished the below and be confident in owning each area on our team:


  1. At least one year of experience creating both video and static creative for Paid Social advertising, ideally serving U.S.-based clients.
  2. Experience designing digital advertisements for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, or similar channels.
  3. Ability to analyze advertising performance and apply campaign learnings to future creative concepts.
  4. Resourcefulness in sourcing stock photography, video, and other creative assets when client materials are limited.
  5. Comfort experimenting with AI-assisted design tools and emerging creative technologies to improve quality, efficiency, and creative output.
  6. Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce polished work requiring minimal revisions.


NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience creating UGC-style creative for paid advertising.
  • Motion graphics or light video editing experience.
  • Experience working within a digital marketing agency.
  • Familiarity with Meta Ads, Google Ads, or other paid advertising platforms.
  • Experience collaborating directly with media buyers or paid media strategists.
