WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re hiring a Senior Marketing Data Engineer who can own the marketing data stack end-to-end. You enjoy building systems that stay reliable under pressure, translating fragmented performance data into consistent metrics, and enabling Growth and Executive teams to make informed decisions every day. You’re fluent in cloud environments, confident with pipeline architecture, and comfortable shaping data standards for a high-velocity performance organization.



IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

  • Build and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines with incremental logic, idempotent merges, and clear audit paths.
  • Integrate data from Google/Meta/TikTok/LinkedIn, GA4, Amplitude, Shopify, Amazon Ads/Seller Central, and client revenue files.
  • Design and manage the performance warehouse, optimizing partitioning, clustering/columnstore, indexing, and cost.
  • Orchestrate workflows using Airflow or Prefect (DAG design, retries, sensors, schedules, backfills).
  • Model reliable daily performance tables, creative analytics, and normalized taxonomies.
  • Implement IAM and security practices (SSO/OIDC/SAML, RBAC/ABAC, RLS/CLS, secrets management, and auditing).
  • Build dashboards for executives and channel owners in Looker, Tableau, or Power BI (pacing, targets, forecasts, LTV).
  • Collaborate with Growth to define KPIs, attribution windows, and UTM governance.
  • Maintain runbooks, lineage documentation, and operational standards.
  • Continuously improve reliability, data quality, and cloud cost efficiency.



YOU’LL SUCCEED IF YOU HAVE

  • 4–6+ years in data or analytics engineering, ideally with marketing or RevOps exposure.
  • Strong SQL (CTEs, window functions, MERGE) and Python for ETL and data automation.
  • Production experience with Azure or GCP (ability to learn the other rapidly).
  • Hands-on orchestration experience (Airflow or Prefect).
  • Direct integration experience with ads/analytics platforms (Google Ads, Meta, GA4, Amplitude, DV360, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of IAM, secrets management, and security-by-default patterns.
  • Ability to structure messy multi-channel data into trusted daily insights.
  • Ownership mindset with strong communication and documentation habits.



NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with both Azure and GCP in production environments.
  • BI depth in Power BI, Looker, or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with forecasting, MMM, or incrementality frameworks.
  • CI/CD for data (Git, PR workflows, deploy pipelines), Terraform, or IAC.
  • Data protection experience (DDM, Always Encrypted, policy tags).
