What we’re looking for

Our client, a US-based leading home goods brand specializing in stylish, spillproof, and washable rugs, is seeking a Finance Ops Associate to join their team. This role is integral to keeping financial processes running smoothly and ensuring operational efficiency across finance and logistics. If you enjoy working in a dynamic environment where finance meets operations, this position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact.


Responsibilities

  • Review and reconcile 3PL invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Coordinate invoice follow-up with vendors, 3PL partners, and freight forwarders.
  • Ensure all vendor payments processed via Bill.com are accurately reflected in Xero.
  • Assist with month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting support.
  • Conduct shipping rate analyses to support cost efficiency.
  • Issue vendor payments and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Track container deliveries, coordinating with vendors and managing necessary documentation.
  • Organize and present financial and operational data using Excel.


Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Excel for data management and reporting.
  • Background in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Experience supporting month-end close processes (reconciliations, reporting, or analysis).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.


Nice to Have

  • Experience with Xero or similar accounting systems.
  • Familiarity with Bill.com or comparable payment platforms.
  • Prior experience in supply chain or logistics coordination.
