We connect talent with work opportunities at some of the most exciting companies worldwide.

If you're looking for an opportunity to grow your skills and work with some of the best companies in the US and beyond, Proppel can help.

What we're looking for

A fast-growing Canadian health and injury rehab brand is looking for a Creative Strategist and Copywriter with exceptional copywriting skills and a direct-response mindset. You'll own the creative output behind paid social video ads that educate, convert, and scale. This is a high-accountability role where your work is measured by real results.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Write short-form and long-form video ad scripts that sound natural on camera and are built to convert.
  • Break down customer pain points, objections, and skepticism into persuasive, education-first messaging.
  • Develop 15 to 20 creative concepts per week, iterating on winners and cutting what isn't working.
  • Collaborate with video editors, designers, and a content creator to ensure every idea is executed properly.
  • Review ad performance alongside the media buyer and apply learnings to future creatives.
  • Act as the creative director behind every video asset, from brief to final cut.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years in copywriting, creative strategy, or direct-response marketing.
  • Strong command of written English and the ability to write for spoken word and video.
  • Solid understanding of DTC, e-commerce, and conversion-focused content.
  • Ability to simplify complex or technical topics for everyday audiences.
  • Coachable mindset with high standards for your own work and a genuine drive to improve.
  • Clear understanding of the North American consumer market.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in health, fitness, or rehab verticals.
  • Background in paid social or organic video content.
  • Based in Toronto (for in-house shoots).

Benefits

  • Competitive salary.
  • 100% remote work (if outside Toronto).
  • 2 weeks of Paid Time Off.
  • health benefits after probation (approximately $3,000 CAD per year, flexible use).
  • Performance bonuses per ad that hits $5,000 in spend, plus quarterly performance incentives.
