What we're looking for 

We are seeking a creative, data-driven, and highly strategic Social Media & Community Manager to lead organic social efforts across a multi-brand portfolio. This role owns content strategy, channel growth, and day-to-day execution across core social platforms — with a focus on building engaged communities, driving audience expansion, and enhancing overall brand presence.

You will collaborate closely with paid media, video editing, and brand leads, and will report directly to the CMO. The ideal candidate is fluent in social trends, comfortable operating in a high-volume environment, and adept at translating brand messaging into platform-appropriate content.


What You’ll Be Doing


Social Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and manage monthly content calendars across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging channels.
  • Define content themes, posting cadence, and platforms’ differentiation based on brand goals and performance insights.
  • Partner with brand leads to develop and evolve channel-specific content strategies.
  • Manage daily posting, scheduling, and community engagement using tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or equivalent.
  • Collaborate with designers and editors to ensure the timely delivery of creative assets.
  • Maintain brand voice and tone consistency across all social touchpoints.
  • Support content expansion into new verticals as brands grow (e.g., automotive, boating, housing).


Analytics & Optimization

  • Monitor platform analytics to track engagement, reach, CTR, audience growth, and conversion-related KPIs.
  • Deliver detailed, insight-driven monthly reports — moving beyond follower counts to include post-level engagement, benchmark comparisons, content performance trends, and social listening insights.
  • Conduct trend analysis to inform future content planning and creative direction.
  • Recommend ongoing optimizations based on performance data and industry trends.


Community Management

  • Build and nurture engaged brand communities across platforms.
  • Manage comment moderation, audience interactions, and proactive engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen loyalty, improve sentiment, and drive organic participation.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with paid media, brand leads, and video production teams to align messaging and maximize campaign impact.
  • Support broader marketing initiatives including product launches, sweepstakes, and partnership activations.
  • Collaborate on real-time storytelling for PR, events, and brand moments.
  • Contribute to rebranding efforts by interpreting brand direction across social channels (without owning brand strategy).


Requirements

  • 3–5+ years managing social media for consumer brands, ideally across multi-brand or multi-product portfolios.
  • Strong understanding of platform algorithms, channel best practices, and socially native brand-building.
  • Experience working with diverse content styles including brand personalities, creators, or high-volume storytelling.
  • Proficiency with social publishing and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite).
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone for multiple brands.
  • Basic photo/video editing skills or familiarity with quick-turn tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite).
  • Comfortable in fast-paced environments with short feedback cycles.


Nice to Have

  • Support micro-influencer outreach, gifting programs, and creator partnerships.
  • Coordinate usage rights, deliverables, and content tracking where needed.
  • Work cross-functionally with brand and content teams as creator programs evolve.
