What we're looking for 

Our US-based client, a fast-growing membership club that gives its community access to exclusive competitions, giveaways, and live events, is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee accounting operations and help build scalable financial processes. This role is essential for strengthening internal controls, implementing structured reporting, and ensuring financial accuracy as the business expands into new divisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and review the work of the external bookkeeper, ensuring reconciliations and records are accurate.
• Maintain and update the company’s financial model, including forecasts for customers, revenue, and costs.
• Establish and manage a formal accounts payable (AP) process with clear separation of duties.
• Implement a month-end close process, including reconciliation checklists and financial reporting.
• Develop divisional reporting to support new business launches and provide leadership with actionable insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5+ years of accounting experience, preferably with US-based companies.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks; experience with additional AP or reporting tools is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and structured reporting processes.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in startups or fast-growing environments.
• Familiarity with building accounting systems or ERPs from the ground up.
