What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a Senior Recruiter who operates as a true client partner, not just a sourcer. You’ve worked in agency or client-facing recruitment environments and know how to own a client relationship from the first intake conversation to a closed offer. You bring a consultative mindset: you can speak credibly about the market, push back on unrealistic expectations, advise on compensation, and guide clients through difficult hiring decisions.
You have direct experience recruiting for US-based companies and are comfortable working with clients across the US, Canada, and the UK. You can source and present candidates from both the US and Latin America, and you understand the distinctions between these talent pools — compensation norms, availability, and how to position each compellingly to a global client base. LATAM recruiting experience is strongly preferred, but your ability to recruit across markets is what sets you apart.
You move fast, stay organized across multiple open roles, and hold yourself to high standards on candidate quality. You don’t need hand-holding, you own your desk.
Responsibilities
- Own the full-cycle recruitment process across multiple client accounts: sourcing, vetting, coordinating interviews, managing offers, and closing placements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from initial role intake, managing expectations, and positioning yourself as a strategic hiring partner.
- Provide consulting-level guidance to clients on role scoping, candidate market availability, compensation benchmarks, and hiring timelines.
- Conduct thorough intake calls to fully understand client needs, push back constructively where requirements are misaligned with the market, and set realistic expectations.
- Present candidates with clear, well-structured vetting notes that make a confident case for fit.
- Guide candidates through every stage of the process, keeping them prepared, engaged, and well-represented.
- Identify and surface market intelligence that helps clients make better hiring decisions.
- Support internal hiring initiatives and contribute to team documentation and workflow improvements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in an agency or client-facing environment.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting for US-based clients and comfortable managing relationships with clients across the US, Canada, and the UK, this is non-negotiable.
- Able to source and present candidates from both Latin America and the US, with strong preference for those who have deep experience in both talent markets.
- Proven ability to consult clients on compensation ranges, candidate market dynamics, and not just fill briefs.
- Comfortable leading client-facing conversations, presenting candidates, and handling objections directly.
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple open roles and pipelines simultaneously without losing quality or urgency.
- Exceptional written and spoken English, client communication is a core part of this role.
- Experience with tools such as HubSpot, Slack, LinkedIn Recruiter, Claude or comparable platforms.
- Must have your own laptop, stable high-speed internet connection, and professional, clean, space to work.
Nice to Have
- Experience with e-commerce, DTC, digital marketing, or startup hiring.
- Familiarity with LATAM salary benchmarking and cost-of-hire dynamics.
- Experience recruiting for creative roles like; video editors, graphic designers, creative strategist, etc.
Compensation
This role is structured as a contractor position. Compensation is base plus commission, paid in USD. The commission plan is tied directly to successful placements and is designed to be generous for high performers. Full details are shared during the interview process.
