What we're looking for 

You’re a detail-obsessed Video Editor who loves long-form storytelling and short-form punch. You know how to turn raw podcast recordings into polished, engaging video episodes and scroll-stopping clips. You’re comfortable working independently and following clear processes to deliver consistent, high-quality work.

Our client is a full-service video podcast production company that supports creators and brands across both editorial and technical production. From concept development to final delivery, they help podcasts look, sound, and feel premium. The culture is creative, organized, and quality-driven, with a strong focus on collaboration and clarity.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Sync raw audio and video files to build clean project timelines.
• Edit both long-form podcast episodes and short-form content for social media platforms.
• Cut filler words and remove editorially duplicative content while preserving flow.
• Integrate intros, teasers, calls to action, and outros seamlessly.
• Identify standout moments from episodes for social promotion.
• Edit horizontal and vertical teaser clips designed to hook audiences and drive listens.

Requirements

• Proven experience editing long-form video content, ideally podcasts or interviews.
• Strong short-form editing skills for social platforms (horizontal and vertical).
• Proficiency with professional editing tools and workflows.
• Ability to follow timecodes and creative direction precisely when provided.
• Experience using motion graphics, animation, and elevated on-screen text (non-AI).
• Strong attention to detail and editorial judgment.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with podcast-first or creator-led content.
• Experience working with b-roll and limited stock footage.
• Comfort collaborating with producers and editors in fast-paced environments.
