What we're looking for 

A fast-growing e-commerce retention agency and elite lifecycle marketing partner for DTC brands is looking for a sharp, client-facing Account Strategist. You will own client relationships end-to-end, leading retention strategy through the full Klaviyo product suite. This is a high-trust, high-impact role for someone who thinks in revenue and leads clients, not just manages them.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for every client on your roster, running biweekly or monthly strategy calls with full ownership of the agenda, insights, and direction.
  • Own lifecycle strategy across Klaviyo's full platform, including flows, campaigns, segmentation, CDP, A/B testing, Composer, and emerging features.
  • Build and manage the monthly campaign calendar for each client, aligned to revenue targets, promotional cadence, and seasonal opportunities.
  • Surface risks, blockers, and growth opportunities proactively before clients ask, and lead difficult conversations about performance and expectations with confidence.
  • Brief and align the internal implementation pod after every call, acting as the strategic link between client direction and execution quality.
  • Deliver monthly performance reports that go beyond metrics, leading with clear, revenue-tied recommendations that drive action.


Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on Klaviyo experience covering both strategy and execution (not just platform access or oversight).
  • Deep working knowledge of Klaviyo's full product suite, including flows, campaigns, segmentation, A/B testing, CDP, analytics, Composer, and Customer Hub.
  • Proven retention strategy experience managing DTC or e-commerce brands, ideally in the $1M to $50M+ revenue range.
  • Direct client relationship ownership experience, having led strategy calls and served as the face of an account.
  • Actively leverages AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to improve workflows and processes.
  • Near-native English fluency, written and spoken, with the confidence to hold your own on a strategy call with senior US-based clients.
  • Agency experience and the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously without micromanagement.


Nice to Have

  • Shopify knowledge and familiarity with its integration into the Klaviyo ecosystem.
  • Experience with other ESPs, such as Attentive, Postscript, or Omnisend, useful for migrations and competitive context.
  • Paid media background (Meta, Google) to add depth when advising on full-funnel growth.
