You are a UGC Video Editor who understands how to turn raw footage into scroll-stopping social content. You think like a marketer, edit like a storyteller, and know what makes people stop, watch, and convert.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Turn raw footage into high-performing video ads for paid social and digital channels.
- Select hooks, soundbites, and visuals to craft compelling narratives independently.
- Edit short-form, social-first content for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Create multiple variations of winning creatives by testing hooks, pacing, and formats.
- Add subtitles, motion graphics, sound design, and color correction.
- Collaborate with creative and growth teams to iterate based on performance insights.
Requirements
- 2 to 4+ years of experience in video editing for marketing or paid social.
- Strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Proven experience creating ads for Meta, TikTok, or YouTube.
- Strong understanding of hooks, pacing, and viewer retention.
- Ability to turn raw footage into structured, engaging content.
- A portfolio showcasing short-form or performance-driven video content.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI tools like ElevenLabs.
- Ability to source stock or AI-generated footage.
- Experience with both short-form and light long-form editing.
- Ability to suggest creative ideas based on performance data.
