A leader in mass-casualty response and EMS technology, Magen David Adom treats and transports more than 1 million people to hospitals every year; collects and distributes nearly all the blood to Israel’s hospitals and the IDF; and responds to disasters around the world. The American Friends of Magen David Adom (AFMDA) supports the lifesaving work of MDA. Through philanthropy, advocacy, and public education throughout the U.S., AFMDA provides critical resources to help ensure that Magen David Adom’s 39,000 paramedics, EMTs, and first responders have the training, equipment, and technology they need to save lives—every day and in times of crisis.
Position Summary:
The Senior Director, Marketing reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and plays a central role in shaping and driving AFMDA’s marketing communications strategy, brand presence, messaging, and outreach across platforms. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for translating marketing priorities into high-impact programs with clear objectives, accountability, and measurable results. Working closely with development and national teams, the Senior Director ensures that marketing efforts directly support organizational goals, donor engagement, and fundraising growth.
