Position Overview
American Friends of Magen David Adom (AFMDA) seeks a strategic, creative, and highly organized Marketing Manager to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns that advance brand awareness, deepen audience engagement, and support donor conversion and mission impact.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, the Marketing Manager will develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans in support of organizational priorities, brand, campaigns, emergency response initiatives, donor communications, and strategic partnerships and programs. The role will also serve as a key project management lead, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and ensuring successful execution of marketing initiatives from concept through completion.
The ideal candidate is both a strategist and a doer—someone who can build marketing plans, manage projects, analyze results, and execute campaigns that strengthen engagement with AFMDA’s audiences and inspire support for Magen David Adom’s lifesaving work.
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Management
- Develop and execute integrated marketing plans that build brand awareness, engage and nurture target audiences, and support conversion to donors, event participants and other key constituents.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to identify objectives, target audiences, messaging, tactics, timelines, and success metrics.
- Manage the execution of multi-channel campaigns across email, digital, social media, web, print and paid media.
- Create campaign briefs and oversee implementation from planning through launch and reporting.
- Monitor performance and provide recommendations to improve engagement, conversion, and return on investment.
- Ensure all marketing efforts align with AFMDA’s brand strategy and organizational goals.
Project Management & Operations
- Manage marketing workflows and project timelines using Asana project management platforms
- Coordinate marketing projects across departments, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within scope.
- Facilitate project kickoff meetings, status updates, and stakeholder reviews.
- Track priorities, dependencies, approvals, and deadlines across multiple concurrent projects.
- Identify project risks and proactively develop solutions to keep initiatives on track.
- Maintain marketing calendars and production schedules.
Content & Communications
- Collaborate with writers, designers, agencies, and internal stakeholders to develop compelling marketing assets and donor communications.
- Support the creation of email campaigns, newsletters, landing pages, special event materials, presentations, and other collateral.
- Provide marketing and design support for conferences, trade shows, special events, and strategic partnerships, ensuring consistent branding and high-quality promotional materials across all external-facing initiatives.
- Review content and creative materials for quality, accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track campaign performance and key marketing metrics.
- Develop post-campaign reports and insights.
- Use data to inform future marketing strategies and optimize campaign effectiveness.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in a nonprofit, healthcare, or mission-driven organization.
- Proven experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience with email marketing, digital marketing, social media, and content marketing.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Asana, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Salary: $90,000-120,000
