Role Description: We have a great full-time opportunity for a Hydraulic/Hydrology Engineer/Project Manager at our Phoenix office. Preference is a licensed engineer in the state of Arizona with minimum 5 years of experience. Experience in the Phoenix area is desired. The role will work collaboratively in a team environment providing hydrologic and hydraulic analysis modeling and design for public infrastructure and flood control projects.

Duties:
- Prepare hydrologic and hydraulic analysis using a wide range of models, including HEC-RAS, HEC-RAS 2D, HEC-HMS, and FLO-2D.
- Prepare hydrologic and hydraulic studies and FEMA permitting.
- Research jurisdictional drainage requirements for appropriate incorporation into design and construction drawings.
- Oversee production of drainage design and construction drawings using AutoCAD.
- Perform data management and prepare exhibits using ArcGIS and QGIS.
- Work as a member of a multi-discipline team.
- Mentor EIT staff regarding hydrologic and hydraulic theory and practice.
- Conduct site visits and document findings.
- Write and coordinate preparation of graphic materials for presentations and documents.

Qualifications:
- Professional Licensed PE required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE).
- Minimum 5 years’ drainage engineering.
- Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and Communication Skills.
- Works well in a Team Environment.
- Thorough attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of construction means, methods and techniques.
- Ability to prepare civil engineering documents and specifications for projects.
