About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Operations to lead and oversee operational strategy, execution, and performance across our Fife, WA facility and related business units. This role is responsible for driving efficiency, ensuring service excellence, and aligning operations with overall business goals. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with deep expertise in logistics, transportation, and supply chain management who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight of day-to-day operations, including transportation, warehouse, and logistics functions.
  • Develop and execute operational plans that support organizational growth and profitability.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop management teams to achieve high performance and accountability.
  • Monitor KPIs, financial performance, and customer satisfaction to ensure service excellence.
  • Drive process improvement, technology adoption, and cost-efficiency initiatives.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on business strategy, budgeting, and resource planning.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
  • Represent the company in key customer and partner relationships.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to strengthen operational performance.
  • Perform other executive-level duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, logistics, or transportation.
  • At least 5 years in a senior leadership or executive role.
  • Strong background in managing large-scale operations, budgets, and multi-site teams.
  • Proven ability to drive strategic initiatives and deliver measurable business results.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.

Desired:

  • MBA or other advanced degree.
  • Experience leading operations in a global logistics or freight forwarding environment.
  • Expertise in digital transformation and logistics technology adoption.
