This position is based onsite in Charlotte, North Carolina.


About the Role

As a Client Services Manager (CSM), you will serve as the primary point of contact for both strategic and operational activities tied to assigned client programs. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, ensure service excellence, and manage major client-facing projects across onboarding, process development, procurement strategy, and systems integration.

This role blends relationship management, project leadership, and operational oversight—making you a critical driver of client satisfaction, retention, and long-term value realization.


Key Responsibilities

Client Leadership & Relationship Management

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual client business reviews.
  • Quantify, articulate, and present Odyssey’s value proposition to assigned clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client projects and ongoing initiatives.
  • Document and manage new service opportunities and client-requested changes.

Project & Implementation Management

  • Partner with Commercial teams to define integration goals, service scope, and Odyssey commitments.
  • Lead client implementations from discovery through steady-state operations.
  • Develop and maintain detailed client integration project plans.
  • Ensure projects have clearly defined business requirements, objectives, and documented processes.
  • Manage project scope and proactively prevent scope creep.
  • Prepare and deliver project status reports to internal and external stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate cross-functional resources, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Facilitate project team meetings and communicate milestones, risks, and constraints.
  • Collaborate with Procurement to ensure routing and rating data accuracy.
  • Coordinate and support client training on Odyssey systems and tools.

Continuous Improvement & Financial Oversight

  • Identify and implement cost-savings and efficiency initiatives for clients.
  • Build and document future-state processes and supporting business rules.
  • Monitor client profitability, including FTE allocation, management fees, and cost impacts.
  • Identify internal opportunities to reduce FTE demand and streamline workflows.
  • Identify external opportunities to improve client processes and drive cost efficiencies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain Management preferred).
  • 5+ years of logistics experience strongly desired.
  • Prior project management experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and transportation operations.
  • Ability to interpret commercial contracts.
  • Exceptional customer service, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Initiative-driven with strong follow-through.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Visio.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in managed logistics, 3PL, or 4PL environments.
  • Continuous improvement experience.
  • PMP or other project management certification.
  • Experience leading multi-phase technology or systems integration projects.
