Summary / Primary Role:
The Client Services Manager (CSM) serves as the primary point of contact for both strategic and operational activities related to the client’s program. This role is responsible for ensuring continuous improvement and service excellence are executed according to contractual terms driving value in support of the clients’ supply chain and logistics goals.
The CSM is also an accomplished project manager, providing management oversight for all phases of the client on-boarding, business process development, procurement strategy, and systems integration. The CSM will develop and utilize project plans and Odyssey’s project methodology through go-live and steady state operationally, while ensuring that plans are being followed, work is proceeding on schedule and issues are being resolved.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

· Schedule monthly, quarterly, and annual business/operational reviews with assigned clients.
· Work with clients and cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost savings and efficiency initiatives.
· Identify and quantify Odyssey’s value proposition for assigned clients.
· Document and track to closure new service opportunities and client requested service changes.
· Work with commercial team to define integration goals, scope of services, and Odyssey commitments.
· Lead implementation projects from original concept, discovery, future state process to steady state.
· Work cross-functionally and regionally to standardize, improve processes, services, and reporting.
· Create, develop and maintain client integration project plans.
· Ensure implementation and cutover projects are well-defined, with documented business requirements and clear overall objectives.
· Conduct and participate in all projects related review meetings. Manage the coordination schedules, resources, timelines and responsibilities.
- Meet with project team regularly to review project status, deliverables and deadlines.
- Provide timely reporting of issues that impact project status.
- Provide continuous feedback to Project Steering Team with project status, milestones, risks and constraints.
· Work with Odyssey’s Procurement department to ensure routing and rating data are delivered accurately and on time.
· Develop and document future state work processes and supporting business rules.
· Coordinate training activities for clients as it pertains to Odyssey systems and functionality.
· Document and manage project scope while identifying and avoiding scope creep.
· Service as the primary point of contact for project.
· Prepare informal and formal status reports.
· Monitor and understand clients’ profitability with regard to (where applicable):
· FTEs by department or business unit
· Management fees
· Overall $ impact to Odyssey
· Excessive travel
· Identify:
· Internal projects that could reduce FTE demand and streamlines Odyssey’s work processes
· External projects that could improve work processes or diver cost savings for clients.
Qualifications and Key Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree. Supply Chain Management degree is a plus.
· At least 5 years of logistics experience is strongly desired.
· Prior project management experience is preferred.
· Ability to interpret commercial contracts is desired.
· Knowledge of Supply Chain and Transportation industry.
· Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills, with proficiency in public speaking and presentations.
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
· Ability to work independently and in team environments, while being able to promote cooperation and teamwork among staff, peers, superiors and customers.
· Detail-oriented and highly organized.
· Ability to prioritize and handle multiple critical projects and tasks simultaneously and reliably in a fast-paced environment and the ability to juggle changing priorities and needs of the client(s).

· Ability to develop expertise in a variety of concepts, practices and procedures.
· Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

· Computer Skills: Extremely proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Visio.
· Travel will be necessary to visit operation centers and clients. Must be willing to travel 30% of the time.
