Based in Melrose Park, IL, Odyssey continues to innovate logistics and, due to growth, we’re hiring a Lead Warehouse Operator to join our team.

About the Role

The Lead Warehouse Operator leads, coaches, and trains staff to ensure safe, efficient, and smooth warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide staff on forklift inspections, unloading, loading, picking, and receiving customer product.
• Partner with the General Manager on reporting, scheduling, and staff training.
• Conduct scanner training, inventory checks, and food-grade aisle inspections.
• Manage forklift maintenance needs and update load boards.
• Support pickups, deliveries, and cross-departmental coordination.
• Identify hazards and ensure audit readiness.
• Assist with special projects and other assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certification required within 90 days of hire.
• GMP and Food Safety/HAACP knowledge preferred.
• Experience with barcode scanners a plus.
• No prior work experience required – training provided!

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $20–$25 (depending on skills, experience, and location).
