We’re hiring to support continued growth in our managed services portfolio and to deepen our impact with large, complex enterprise customers.

Location:

This is a fully remote role, with preference for candidates based in or near New Jersey.

Schedule:

Full-time, exempt position. Standard business hours with flexibility based on client and sales cycle needs.

Travel required approximately 25%.

About the Job:

The Enterprise Managed Services Sales Director is responsible for driving net-new enterprise revenue through the sale of inbound transportation management, managed TMS, and complex logistics outsourcing solutions. This role focuses on hunting and closing large, multi-quarter opportunities with Fortune 1000 and highly matrixed organizations, engaging C-suite stakeholders and shaping long-term, value-driven partnerships.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Drive net-new enterprise revenue by targeting and closing large inbound transportation and managed TMS opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategic go-to-market plans focused on Fortune 1000 and large industrial enterprises.
  • Lead the full enterprise sales cycle, from research and prospecting through discovery, solution design, business case development, negotiation, and close.
  • Engage executive stakeholders (COO, CIO, CFO, SVP Supply Chain) with clear, compelling, value-based messaging.
  • Translate complex inbound logistics challenges into scalable solution architectures and ROI-driven outcomes.
  • Build and manage high-value pipelines with multimillion-dollar opportunities across domestic transportation and managed services.
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, finance, legal, and executive leadership on solution design and contract structure.
  • Introduce innovation through digital enablement, visibility platforms, and supply chain optimization strategies.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts, pipeline hygiene, and executive-level reporting in Salesforce.
  • Serve as a strategic market presence through customer workshops, executive briefings, and industry events.

Qualifications:

We recognize not all applicants have every skill or qualification to match a job description exactly. Odyssey values diverse experiences in other industries, and we encourage everyone who meets most required qualifications to apply. While having “desired” qualifications make for a strong candidate, we encourage applicants with alternative experiences to also apply. We are always looking for people who will bring something new to the table!

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience selling enterprise-scale managed transportation, inbound logistics, managed TMS, or complex logistics outsourcing solutions.
  • Proven success as a new-logo enterprise hunter (not account management focused).
  • Strong expertise in domestic transportation (TL, LTL, inbound road/ground).
  • Experience managing multi-quarter, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-suite and VP-level stakeholders.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, including business case development and ROI modeling.
  • Salesforce proficiency with structured forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25%.

Desired:

  • 4PL, Managed Services, or Control Tower experience.
  • Experience selling procure-to-pay or inbound transportation solutions.
  • Background selling into large industrial, manufacturing, or distribution-heavy enterprises.
  • SaaS or technology-enabled supply chain solution selling experience.
  • MBA or advanced business education.
  • Proven success displacing incumbent transportation providers through value-driven selling.
