Here in Fairbanks, AK, our team is expanding, and we’re looking for a Mover/Packer Driver to help us support critical military and household goods moves. If you’re ready to work hard, stay professional, and be part of a company that values teamwork, we’d love to have you join us!

Location

This is an in-person role based in Fairbanks, AK.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday (start/end times vary depending on assignments)
• Must be flexible and willing to stay until each job is finished
• Overtime and weekend work may be required
• Work occurs primarily on military bases (bringing lunch daily is recommended)

About the Job

The Mover/Packer Driver is responsible for packing, loading, and delivering household goods in a clean, damage-free, and professional manner. This role ensures customer property is handled with care and transported safely while maintaining Odyssey’s high standards for service and efficiency.

In This Role, You Will:

• Pack, load, and deliver household goods, primarily for military customers.
• Prepare and crate items securely and efficiently.
• Drive and operate a company vehicle.
• Maintain professionalism with customers, coworkers, and the public.
• Work safely at all times and follow company policies.
• Complete paperwork in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Perform all other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift/move items up to 75 lbs and perform physical demands of the role.
• Must be reliable, flexible, and able to stay until jobs are completed.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Must-Have

• Ability to work independently and follow supervisor instructions.
• Ability to interact with customers and coworkers professionally.
• Capability to complete paperwork accurately for dispatch, management, and customers.

Preferred

• Previous experience driving commercial vehicles.
• ICC Medical Card.
• Experience operating on military bases or in household goods moving.
