Location

This is an on-site driving role based in Soldotna, AK, USA.

Schedule

Monday – Friday

Shift hours: 4:00 am – 5:30 pm

Overtime as needed.

About the Job

The CDL A Driver will be responsible for assisting in loading, pick-ups, and deliveries of freight to customer locations while coordinating with Dispatch to ensure customer needs are met in a timely and professional manner.

In This Role, You Will:

• Operate vehicles in compliance with local and state traffic laws and company procedures.
• Read and interpret traffic signs and controls in accordance with FHWA regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on all assigned vehicles; ensure necessary repairs are completed per state and federal regulations.
• Track and maintain Hours of Service logs.
• Secure freight properly to prevent shifting or damage while in transit.
• Verify shipments against shipping documents to confirm accuracy and proper segregation.
• Use appropriate equipment for safe loading and unloading.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Key Skills

Required:

• Minimum 1 year of driving experience with assigned trucks in a local environment.
• Valid Alaska Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials endorsement.
• Valid Medical Card.
• Strong driving record.
• Reliability and scheduling flexibility.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
