Location:

This is a remote-based role within the United States.


Schedule:

  • Full-time, exempt position (average 40 hours per week)
  • Minimum 30 hours per week required to maintain full-time benefits eligibility
  • Some overtime as scheduled
  • Approximately 25% travel required


Compensation

Salary Range : $76k-121k annually ( depending on experience)



About the Job:

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring new enterprise clients and expanding opportunities within strategic accounts. This role focuses on identifying, developing, and closing opportunities for SaaS TMS and third-party transportation solutions across multiple industries. Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll use a consultative approach to position Odyssey’s multi-modal transportation and logistics services while consistently achieving assigned revenue targets.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Achieve assigned net revenue goals through profitable new logo acquisition.
  • Develop and execute sales plans targeting SaaS TMS and 3rd party transportation opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a qualified pipeline across Odyssey’s full suite of logistics services.
  • Lead discovery conversations with prospective clients to uncover logistics challenges.
  • Clearly articulate Odyssey’s value proposition and competitive differentiators.
  • Cultivate strong executive-level relationships within mid-market and enterprise organizations.
  • Lead the full sales cycle: outreach, solution development, proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations, Finance, Legal, and leadership on deal structures.
  • Provide market insights, ROI-driven proposals, and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce CRM records and provide regular forecasting updates.
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure solution alignment and customer success.
  • Support strategic projects and company initiatives as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of proven success selling SaaS TMS solutions to mid-market or enterprise accounts.
  • 5+ years of experience in 3rd party multi-modal transportation solutions (TL, LTL, partial, tank truck, expedited).
  • Demonstrated success in solution-based sales with consistent record of exceeding targets.
  • Strong ability to develop ROI-based proposals and financial models.
  • Experience leading or collaborating on complex contract negotiations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and executive relationship skills.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM, PowerPoint, Excel, and related tools.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.

Desired:

  • Experience in cross-selling complex logistics services across large, matrixed organizations.
  • Background in developing innovative, client-specific logistics strategies.
  • Prior success working with C-suite decision makers in long-cycle enterprise sales.
