Location:

This role is based in O’Fallon, MO.

Schedule:

• Minimum of 30 hours per week to maintain full-time status.
• Average of 5 days per week / 240 days per year, maximizing available DOT driving hours.
• Saturdays may be required based on customer needs.
• Exceptions: vacation, national holidays, inclement weather, or illness.

About the Job:

As a Class A Driver, you will operate a tractor-trailer to transport consumer products safely and efficiently. You’ll work within DOT guidelines and company policy to deliver products damage-free and on time. This role is a great fit for professional drivers who value safety, compliance, and excellent service.

In This Role, You Will:

• Load, unload, and secure freight per regulations and company policy.
• Transport products interstate and intrastate while following all traffic and safety laws.
• Review permits, paperwork, and load assignments for compliance.
• Perform Pre-Trip, In-Transit, and Post-Trip inspections on equipment and cargo.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and follow service schedules.
• Maintain accurate driver logs and delivery documentation.
• Stay in daily contact with dispatch and report delays or issues immediately.
• Sleep in the cab of the tractor as needed.
• Comply with DOT, FMCSA, state, and local regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

• Minimum 23 years of age.
• CDL with 2+ years of verifiable OTR tractor-trailer experience, including 12 months of flatbed steel hauling.
• No more than 3 moving violations OR 2 minor preventable accidents (or a combination of 4) in the past 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT physical/medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening.
• No DUI in the past 5 years.

Desired:

• Experience with satellite communication devices.
• Computer literacy.
• Cell phone ownership.

Work Environment:

• Indoor and outdoor settings, with exposure to inclement weather, dust, heat, cold, and noise.
• Possible exposure to chemicals, fumes, petroleum products, moving equipment, fire, electrical hazards, and confined spaces.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of operating, inspecting, and securing tractor-trailer loads safely.
