Location:

This role is based in Memphis, TN.

Schedule:

• Average of 5 days per week / 240 days per year.
• Hours in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Saturdays may be required based on customer needs.
• Exceptions: vacation, national holidays, inclement weather, or illness.

About the Job:

As a Class A Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer to transport consumer products between destinations. You’ll work within DOT guidelines and company policies to ensure products are delivered safely, on time, and damage-free. This role is ideal for professional drivers who take pride in safety, compliance, and excellent service.

In This Role, You Will:

• Load, unload, and assist in securing freight.
• Transport products via tractor-trailer both interstate and intrastate while following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Verify permits, licenses, and load paperwork for compliance.
• Inspect and secure loads according to DOT, state, and company requirements.
• Perform Pre-Trip, In-Transit, and Post-Trip inspections on equipment and cargo.
• Follow preventative maintenance schedules and report issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate driver logs, records, and delivery documentation.
• Communicate regularly with dispatch using in-cab systems, phones, and radios.
• Report delays, accidents, or incidents immediately per company policy.
• Sleep in the cab of the tractor when required.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

• Minimum 23 years of age.
• Valid CDL with at least 2 years of verifiable OTR (interstate & intrastate) tractor-trailer experience, including 12 months of flatbed steel hauling.
• No more than 3 moving violations OR 2 minor preventable accidents (or combination of 4) within the past 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT physical and medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening.
• No DUI within the last 5 years.

Desired:

• Experience with satellite communication devices.
• Computer literacy.
• Cell phone ownership.
