We’re growing fast, and we’re looking for a CDL-A Driver to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring products move safely, on time, and damage-free—keeping supply chains running smoothly.
Location
This is an onsite driving role based in Chicago, IL
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time, averaging 40+ hours per week
- Overtime required as scheduled
- Must maintain at least 30 hours per week for benefits eligibility

About the Job
The CDL-A Driver safely operates tractor-trailers within DOT and Company guidelines to secure and transport consumer products. This role requires professionalism, adherence to safety regulations, and consistent communication with operations to ensure on-time delivery.
In This Role, You Will:
- Receive and review daily dispatches, load assignments, and paperwork.
- Inspect vehicles and equipment daily for safe operation and document results.
- Complete basic maintenance checks (oil, water, tires, lights, etc.).
- Secure loads according to DOT, FMCSA, and Company standards.
- Transport products locally, regionally, or interstate per assignment.
- Verify all paperwork matches materials loaded and delivered.
- Report damages, delays, or securement issues immediately.
- Complete required company and DOT records, including logs and inspection reports.
- Communicate with dispatch, operations, and customers professionally.
- Operate two-way communication equipment and satellite systems as needed.
- Follow all Company safety policies, PPE requirements, and reporting procedures.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid CDL-A license issued by state of residence.
- Minimum 6 months verifiable interstate driving experience.
- Must meet all DOT physical/medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening.
- Knowledge of DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
- Safe driving record (no disqualifying convictions under 49 CFR 383.51).
Must-Have
- Ability to safely lift, secure, and handle freight.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written).
- Ability to follow direction, work independently, and manage time effectively.
- Professional, customer-focused demeanor.
Preferred
- Experience with satellite communication devices.
- Computer literacy for logs, reports, and dispatch updates.
- Prior flatbed or chassis experience.

Work Environment
Drivers will work in both indoor and outdoor conditions, with exposure to varying weather, noise, and environments such as terminals, rail yards, and customer sites. The role requires use of securement equipment including chains, binders, and ratchet straps.
