This is a driving role based in Fairbanks, AK (Van Horn), USA.

Schedule:

• Full-time schedule with line haul operations
• Nights, weekends, and overtime may be required based on freight demand

About the Job:

As a CDL-A Line Haul Driver, you’ll transport freight between terminals and customer locations across Alaska. This role requires strict adherence to DOT regulations, safe driving practices in varying road conditions, and the ability to handle long-haul routes with professionalism. You’ll be a critical part of Odyssey’s freight operations, ensuring goods move safely, efficiently, and on time.

In This Role, You Will:

• Operate Class A vehicles in compliance with DOT and company regulations.
• Safely transport freight between terminals and customer locations.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Accurately complete logs, delivery paperwork, and electronic documentation.
• Coordinate with dispatch for efficient routing and scheduling.
• Maintain positive customer interactions during deliveries.
• Ensure freight is properly secured and handled to prevent damage.
• Adhere to company safety policies and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical/drug screening.
• Familiarity with long-haul driving and Alaska road conditions.
• Ability to lift, secure, and unload cargo as needed.

Desired:

• Previous line haul or regional driving experience.
• Experience operating in Fairbanks and surrounding Alaska routes.
• Knowledge of freight forwarding and logistics operations.
