About the Job:
As a CDL A Driver with Odyssey, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our freight operations moving safely and on schedule. You’ll operate company trucks in compliance with all DOT and company regulations, ensuring deliveries are handled with professionalism and care. This position requires a strong safety mindset, the ability to adapt to changing schedules, and a commitment to providing excellent service to our customers.
In This Role, You Will:
- Safely operate Class A vehicles in compliance with DOT and company standards.
- Transport freight to and from designated locations, ensuring timely delivery.
- Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
- Complete and maintain accurate logs, reports, and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers.
- Secure and handle freight properly to avoid damage.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent Odyssey professionally.

Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class A license.
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical/drug screening.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
- Ability to lift, secure, and unload cargo as needed.
Desired:
- Prior experience with regional or dedicated routes.
- Familiarity with Memphis-area and regional logistics networks.
- Strong customer service skills.
