Portfolio & Relationship Management
• Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Develop a deep understanding of each client’s supply chain, freight profile, and strategic objectives.
• Maintain consistent communication with decision-makers and stakeholders to build trust and transparency.
• Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to evaluate performance, align on KPIs, and propose growth
initiatives.
Growth & Revenue Development
• Identify opportunities to expand wallet share through additional lanes, modes (TL, LTL, expedited, intermodal),
or value-added services.
• Proactively pursue cross-sell and up-sell opportunities to increase account profitability.
• Build account-specific strategies that align Odyssey’s solutions to client goals.
• Track competitive intelligence and market insights to uncover new opportunities.
Execution Oversight & Issue Resolution
• Partner with operations and carrier sales teams to ensure seamless execution of customer freight.
• Monitor daily account activity and performance metrics, resolving issues proactively to maintain service
excellence.
• Escalate operational challenges quickly while communicating solutions to the customer.
• Collaborate with leadership to align execution with contractual service-level agreements.
Analytics, Reporting & Forecasting
• Analyze account data to identify trends, service gaps, and margin improvement opportunities.
• Translate data into actionable strategies that enhance both client satisfaction and revenue growth.
• Maintain CRM records and provide leadership with accurate forecasts of account performance.
• Deliver reporting for internal and client-facing reviews, demonstrating value creation.
3TS Division Account Manager
Required Skills & Experience
• 3+ years of experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation account management.
• Proven ability to grow customer accounts and achieve revenue targets.
• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage across multiple levels of a client’s
organization.
• Analytical mindset; skilled in identifying trends, diagnosing challenges, and proposing solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel,
PowerPoint).
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred.
