Location:

  • This is an on-site role based in Brooklyn, OH.


Schedule:

  • Hourly, non-exempt position
  • Minimum of 30 hours per week to maintain full-time benefits eligibility
  • Average of 40 hours per week with overtime as required


About the Job:

The Account Representative / Shipping & Receiving Clerk serves as a vital link between customers, carriers, and warehouse operations. This role is responsible for coordinating daily inbound and outbound orders, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring clear communication between the warehouse floor and office systems—all while delivering a high level of customer service and operational quality.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Review and coordinate daily inbound and outbound shipping requirements
  • Process inbound and outbound orders within warehouse and customer systems
  • Maintain and monitor customer order screens and warehouse whiteboards
  • Track product movement in and out of the warehouse in partnership with the Warehouse Supervisor
  • Communicate daily order needs directly with customers
  • Create Bills of Lading (BOLs) and transmit BOLs and COAs as required
  • Monitor inventory locations and resolve discrepancies immediately
  • Maintain 100% inventory accuracy across systems
  • Monitor product flow and service quality while enforcing company policies and procedures
  • Resolve customer, inventory, and operational issues promptly and professionally
  • Maintain accurate data within Abecas/Insight, SAP, JDE, and other customer information systems
  • Utilize bar code scanning systems where required
  • Develop strong professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Perform all other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow safety rules, procedures, and operating instructions
  • Strong basic math skills, including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw sound conclusions
  • Working knowledge of warehouse management systems and customer/carrier systems
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds regularly
  • Strong reliability, punctuality, and personal accountability

Desired:

  • Experience with Abecas/Insight or similar warehouse management systems
  • Experience working with SAP, JDE, or other customer information systems
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, conflict management, and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism
