Job Title: Optical Regional Sales Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Optical Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales team in the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in management and knee-to-knee sales experience within the dental, primary care, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries. This role involves overseeing a team of sales representatives, driving sales performance, and expanding our market presence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the healthcare sector.
  • Knee-to-Knee Sales: Engage directly with clients and healthcare professionals to build relationships and close sales.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel 30-40% of the time for overnight trips to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on team performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-2 years of management experience in a sales environment, with a focus on overseeing a team of representatives.
  • Sales Experience: Proven knee-to-knee sales experience in healthcare sectors such as dental, primary care, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices.
  • Location: Must be based in either St. Louis or Kansas City, MO.


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $120,000
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): Approximately $210,000 (uncapped)
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and more.
  • Additional Perks: Car allowance and expense account for travel-related costs.
