Marketing Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary marketing team, providing direction, coaching, and support across marketing functions.
  • Develop and execute an overall B2B marketing strategy aligned with business objectives and revenue goals.
  • Oversee marketing initiatives designed to drive demand through distributor, dealer, retailer, contractor, and other trade partner networks.
  • Evaluate marketing programs and campaigns based on measurable ROI, lead generation, engagement, and business impact.
  • Manage and coordinate email marketing, social media, website development and maintenance, graphic design, and print production activities.
  • Oversee multiple consumer-facing websites, ensuring content is current, accurate, functional, and aligned with brand and marketing strategies.
  • Direct the development of marketing collateral, including printed literature, banners, trade show materials, sales tools, and other promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with sales, distribution partners, and other internal stakeholders to ensure marketing programs effectively support channel demand.
  • Plan and oversee trade shows, industry events, and other B2B marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain marketing communications for distributors, dealers, contractors, and other trade partners.
  • Provide strategic direction for social media and digital marketing initiatives across multiple brands or product lines.
  • Work closely with business and sales teams to understand market needs, customer feedback, claims, credits, and other channel-related issues that may impact marketing strategy.
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing processes, systems, technology, and reporting.
  • Explore and implement emerging technologies, including AI tools and automation, to improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Establish priorities, workflows, and performance expectations for the marketing team.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and evolving marketing practices to identify opportunities for growth.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 5+ years of broad-based marketing experience with demonstrated experience across multiple areas of marketing.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop a growing marketing team.
  • Experience developing and executing B2B marketing strategies, preferably within manufacturing, construction, building products, trades, distribution, wholesale, or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of channel-based go-to-market strategies, particularly businesses that sell through distributors, dealers, retailers, contractors, or other intermediaries.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate marketing programs based on ROI and measurable business results.
  • Broad marketing expertise spanning digital marketing, email marketing, websites, social media, print, trade shows, communications, and marketing collateral.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies while also remaining hands-on with day-to-day marketing activities.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to connect marketing initiatives to revenue and organizational objectives.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, brands, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with marketing technology, email marketing platforms, social media tools, website platforms, and business systems.
  • Comfortable working with emerging technologies and exploring the use of AI to improve marketing programs and processes.
  • Demonstrated career stability, with a history of approximately 2–3 years or more with previous employers preferred.
  • Self-directed, adaptable, and willing to learn, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
