Fast growing local CPA firm is currently seeking an Accountant. In this role, you are responsible for a variety of tasks including preparing tax returns, bookkeeping, payroll and financial statements preparation. Applicants should have a bachelor's or master's degree, CPA (or planning to sit for exam).

Responsibilities:

• Prepare tax returns on behalf of clients
• Compile supporting financial statements and documents
• Assist with federal and state tax audits
• Perform tax research, staying up to date on changes
• Bookkeeping (QuickBooks mainly)
• Payroll entry and payroll tax returns
• Financial statement preparation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Master's degree a plus
• CPA license or exam eligibility preferred
• Attention to detail
