Position Summary:
The Director of Recruiting is responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to attract, hire, and retain employees. This role partners closely with executive leadership, operations, and clinical teams to ensure staffing aligns with organizational goals and long-term growth strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract clinical professionals
- Lead and manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through networking, partnerships, and workforce planning initiatives
- Collaborate with leadership to forecast staffing needs and align recruitment efforts with organizational growth
- Design and oversee retention programs, including engagement initiatives, feedback mechanisms, and career development opportunities
- Analyze recruitment and retention metrics to identify trends, improve processes, and drive data-informed decisions
- Ensure a positive candidate and onboarding experience that reflects the organization’s culture and values
- Maintain knowledge of market trends, compensation benchmarks, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- 7–10+ years of experience in recruiting
- Strong understanding of healthcare workforce trends, credentialing, and provider onboarding processes
- Proven ability to develop and execute recruitment and retention strategies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail
