Contract Human Resources Associate

Responsibilities:

  • Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, status changes, and offboarding
  • Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases
  • Coordinate new hire paperwork, background checks, and orientation logistics
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support for HR programs such as benefits, payroll, and performance management
  • Respond to employee inquiries and route issues appropriately for resolution
  • Help ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable labor laws
  • Assist with HR reporting, audits, and data requests as needed
  • Support recruitment activities including job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling
  • Participate in HR projects and process improvements as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of HR experience, preferably in a corporate or staffing environment
  • Familiarity with HR systems (HRIS, ATS, payroll platforms) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to accuracy and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
  • Self-starter with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices is a plus
