Marketing Specialist


Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and implement marketing strategies that reflect the organization’s mission and values while promoting trust, access, and equity.
  • Manage and oversee marketing projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are met.
  • Serve as a brand steward to ensure all external communications and materials align with established brand standards and organizational values.
  • Direct and execute marketing campaigns across advertising, social media, digital platforms, publications, and community outreach.
  • Develop and maintain consistent messaging that builds public trust and communicates the organization’s vision.
  • Communicate marketing goals, progress, and performance updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Manage marketing collateral, ordering systems, and content libraries to ensure accuracy and brand alignment.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards on marketing performance metrics and recommend adjustments as needed.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media partners, community organizations, and sponsors to enhance visibility and reputation.
  • Plan and support community engagement initiatives and events that promote organizational values and impact.
  • Monitor competitor activities, community needs, and market trends to inform marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with executives and department leaders to align marketing initiatives with organizational priorities.
  • Oversee or coordinate work with staff, contractors, or vendors as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare marketing required; experience in nonprofit or mission-driven marketing preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders professionally.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with marketing and design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, HubSpot, or MailChimp preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to establish and interpret marketing metrics and KPIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Energetic, forward-thinking, and professional demeanor with high ethical standards.
