Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 10 accounting professionals, including up to four direct reports.
- Prepare executive-level financial reporting for senior leadership and governance committees.
- Lead the accounting integration of acquired organizations, including processes, systems, and reporting.
- Oversee treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, and the revenue cycle.
- Partner with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Drive accounting process improvements, technology initiatives, and implementation of accounting best practices.
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and established accounting policies.
- Support strategic financial initiatives and organizational growth through effective accounting leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership on financial and operational matters.
- Provide leadership and change management throughout accounting processes, systems, and organizational initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification strongly preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant leadership responsibilities.
- Public accounting and/or professional services experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with financial reporting, treasury operations, cash flow management, and internal controls.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Experience working with ERP systems and accounting technology.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop accounting professionals.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage change and lead process improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
