Responsibilities:
- Assist with new site and location integrations, including HRIS setup and employee data imports
- Communicate with site leadership and employees regarding payroll and HR-related questions
- Maintain integration and compliance checklists for new locations
- Manage onboarding activities for new hires across multiple locations
- Track and ensure timely completion of onboarding requirements and background checks
- Communicate next steps to employees and hiring managers throughout the onboarding process
- Enter and maintain new hire and rehire information in the HRIS
- Complete employment eligibility requirements, including E-Verify and I-9 processes
- Interpret employment agreements and contracts to ensure accurate pay and time-off administration
- Maintain accurate and timely HRIS data and personnel records
- Ensure employee records are maintained in accordance with state and federal requirements
- Process employment verifications and unemployment claims, providing appropriate documentation
- Respond to HR-related questions and provide support to employees and internal stakeholders
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
- Conduct regular HRIS audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Prepare ad hoc reports and analytics for internal departments while maintaining confidentiality
- Develop, update, and maintain standard operating procedures to reflect current processes
- Support HR lifecycle initiatives, including engagement surveys, performance reviews, exit interviews, and stay interviews
- Assist with enterprise-wide HR initiatives, including compliance programs, required training, and implementation of new systems
- Stay current on HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and provide recommendations based on HR best practices
- Assist with special projects and other HR-related duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources or an administrative role
- Experience working with an HRIS; Paycor or Paychex experience is a plus
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to support employees and internal stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Experience managing compliance requirements while meeting deadlines
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and present information clearly to individuals at all levels of an organization
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
- Strong ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize competing deadlines
