Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $180,000 – $280,000

Hybrid Work Policy: Minimum 3 days per week in the NYC (SoHo) office.

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of experience building and scaling data pipelines and distributed systems.
- Comfortable operating in an autonomous, fast-paced startup environment.
- Proven ability to own data infrastructure projects end-to-end.
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed systems.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with engineering, ML, and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable data pipelines using tools like Airflow or Dagster and dbt.
- Own and manage the company’s data infrastructure, ensuring high data quality and reliability.
- Partner with software engineering, machine learning, and product teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
- Build systems for data processing and coordination supporting AI-driven products.
- Optimize and scale database systems to efficiently handle large datasets.
- Enable teams across the organization to leverage data effectively for product and business decisions.

Required Experience
- Experience building data pipelines as distributed systems.
- Experience working at a VC-backed startup (Series A or later) or high-performing technology company (e.g., Meta, Palantir, or similar).
- Candidates with less than 3 years of experience must come from top-tier (“A-tier”) companies.
- Experience working with healthcare data is a strong plus.
Required Skills
- Strong Python proficiency.
- Experience with data orchestration tools (Airflow or Dagster preferred).
- Experience with dbt for data transformation.
- Experience designing and scaling data infrastructure and pipelines.
