Role Overview

We are seeking a mid-level Angular / UI Engineer to help build scalable, reusable front-end systems for data-intensive financial applications. This role focuses on creating shared UI components, establishing visual standards, and delivering clean, intuitive interfaces that make complex information easy to understand.

This position requires both strong engineering skills and sound design judgment.

Key Responsibilities

UI Engineering & Design

  • Build and maintain reusable Angular components and shared UI libraries
  • Develop responsive, high-performance interfaces for complex financial and transactional data
  • Contribute to and maintain design systems including typography, layout, and visual standards
  • Implement UX patterns that improve usability, clarity, and workflow efficiency

Development & Collaboration

  • Partner with backend engineers to define efficient API contracts and data consumption patterns
  • Write clean, testable code using TypeScript, RxJS, and SCSS
  • Participate in code reviews and UX discussions to maintain quality and consistency
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and version control best practices

Required Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of professional front-end development experience
  • 2+ years of hands-on Angular experience (v12 or newer)
  • Strong proficiency with TypeScript, RxJS, and component-based architecture
  • Experience building data-rich, user-focused interfaces
  • Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and responsive design
  • Understanding of UX principles including hierarchy, consistency, and accessibility
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with product and design partners

Nice to Have

  • Experience with NgRx or similar state management
  • Familiarity with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Highcharts)
  • Exposure to design tools such as Figma
  • Experience with financial or analytics-driven applications

Work Environment

This is a primarily onsite role in Phoenix, AZ, with genuine flexibility. Core collaboration hours are 10:00 AM–3:00 PM; outside of those hours, you manage your schedule. Occasional remote work is supported when needed. We trust our engineers and focus on outcomes, not hours.
