Midlevel Associate - Patent Litigation Group

Position Overview:

Our Client is seeking a midlevel associate to join its nationally ranked Patent Litigation group. This role requires a strong background in litigating patent disputes and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Litigate patent disputes, including pre-suit investigation, trial, and appeal.
• Work collaboratively with a team of attorneys and support staff to manage patent litigation cases.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to patent litigation.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and motions.
• Participate in discovery, including depositions and document production.
• Represent clients in court and during negotiations.
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients on patent-related matters.

Qualifications:

• 4-6 years of experience litigating patent disputes.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar technical field preferred.
• Practical work experience in a field of technical expertise is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Admission to the California Bar is required.
