Job Title: Outbound Sales Development Representative – US Territories

Location: Remote (US Territories)

Reports to: Sales Leadership

Position Type: Full-Time

About:

We deliver pre-breach adversary intelligence that helps organizations identify and act on cyber risk before it becomes a breach. We help security teams continuously monitor third-party and identity risk by identifying vendor threats, exposed credentials and data, threat actor activity, and other early indicators of compromise.

Role Mission

As an SDR, your primary mission is to create qualified sales opportunities through consistent, high-quality outbound prospecting. You'll be the first human contact many prospects have with our company, using phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels to introduce relevant problems we solve, generate interest, handle objections, and book qualified meetings for our Account Executives. You'll work closely with the AE team while also supporting inbound leads, event follow-up, and other pipeline-generation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Book at least 10 attended meetings per month, with >25% converting to pipeline opportunities.
  • Hit daily outreach goals with 120+ cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn touches, leading to at least 4 meetings scheduled per week.
  • Follow up with inbound leads and post-event contacts within 24 hours.
  • Engage our Ideal Customer Personas (ICPs)—security leadership and cyber risk professionals—through personalized messaging and outreach.
  • Handle and overcome common objections using objection-handling scripts and on-the-fly adaptation.
  • Map organizational structures to identify decision-makers and influencers.
  • Ensure all interactions reflect empathy, personalization, and alignment with client pain points.
  • Proactively support AE teammates, including rescheduling, chasing no-shows, and reviving ghosted leads.
  • Contribute to team strategy, including script improvements, messaging adjustments, and feedback from the field.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment by taking ownership, operating with urgency, and proactively finding new ways to generate pipeline and improve results.

Key Competencies

  • Ownership: You take responsibility for your pipeline, ownership of lead lists, dive into outreach, and don't wait to be told what to do.
  • Self-Motivation: You set your own pace and don’t need micromanaging.
  • Work Ethic: You reliably put in the work and manage your activity to meet metrics.
  • Active Listening: You understand what prospects care about and pivot your pitch accordingly.
  • Speed & Urgency: You respond quickly, follow up promptly, and keep the momentum alive.
  • Persistence: You follow up at least 6 times before disqualifying a lead.
  • Communication: Clear, concise, credible, and comfortable communicating across phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Proactivity: You seek new ways to reach prospects, improve messaging, and support the team.
  • Persuasion: You can get someone who's cold or hesitant to take a meeting.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of SDR, BDR, outbound prospecting, or other relevant sales experience (cybersecurity or SaaS preferred)
  • Comfort with high-volume outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn)
  • Strong communication and objection-handling skills
  • CRM and sales tech stack fluency (e.g., HubSpot, Apollo, Outreach, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performance sales team
  • Familiarity with the cybersecurity space is a strong plus

This is a high-impact opportunity to join an early-stage sales team where your results will be highly visible and you'll have the opportunity to help shape how we prospect and sell as we grow. For someone who is competitive, entrepreneurial, eager to learn, and ultimately wants to grow into a closing sales role, this is an opportunity to build that foundation quickly.
